Privacy Policy
Little Whispers sends you one short, personal whisper (a few words of encouragement) by text each day. To do that well we need a little information about you. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect, why, who helps us, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your information to run the service, we never sell it, and we never share your phone number or texting consent with anyone for their marketing.
1. Who we are
Little Whispers is operated by John Rea, doing business as Little Whispers (“Little Whispers,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us any time at support@mylittlewhispers.com.
2. What we collect
Information you give us on the signup form
- Your first name, email address, and US mobile phone number
- Your focus areas (for example confidence, career, or mental health), including any words you type into “Other”
- Your whisper style, if you choose one
- Your preferred send time and time zone
- If you add astrology: your birthday month and day only (we never ask for your birth year), and the sun sign we work out from it
- A referral code, if a friend gave you one
- Whether you checked the optional box to receive the daily texts, and whether you also chose the optional marketing-text opt-in
Information from payments
Payments are handled by Whop, our payment processor. Whop collects your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number. Whop shares with us what we need to run your subscription, such as your email, membership ID, plan, and whether your trial or subscription is active.
If you buy or receive a gift
If you buy a gift, Whop shares with us your email, the gift you bought, and the gifter name and (optional) recipient first name you typed at checkout, so we can create the gift code, show the gifter name to the recipient, and email you when it is redeemed. If you redeem a gift, we link the gift code to your signup so we can apply your prepaid months. We keep gift records for as long as the gift is active or unused (unused codes expire 12 months after purchase) and as needed for our financial records.
Texts you send us
If you text us (for example START to begin your whispers, HUG for a rough-day text, HELP, or STOP), we receive the message and your phone number so we can respond and keep track of your rough-day texts and texting preferences.
Basic technical information
Like any website, our pages and hosting provider may log basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address when you visit. While you sign up, your browser temporarily keeps your form answers in its own session storage so they are not lost on the way to checkout. We don’t use advertising trackers.
3. How we use it
- To write and send your daily whisper at the time you picked, in your time zone, once you’ve opted in to texts
- To personalize each text using your name, focus areas, style, and (if you added astrology) your sun sign
- To answer your START, HUG, HELP, and STOP texts and keep count of your 3 monthly rough-day texts
- To manage your free trial, subscription, and billing status with Whop
- To run the referral program and credit free months to referrers
- To send you occasional texts about new features and offers, only if you separately opted in
- To provide support, keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. AI-written whispers
Your whispers may be written with the help of an artificial intelligence (AI) service. To personalize them, we send the AI service only what it needs, such as your first name, focus areas (including your “Other” words), style, time of day, and sun sign if you added astrology. We do not send your payment details. We choose providers that do not use this information to advertise to you.
5. Calendar access (optional, only if enabled)
We may later offer an optional calendar-aware plan that tailors your whisper to your day (for example, a big meeting). If we do, and only if you turn it on and give explicit permission, we would read your calendar events to write that day’s text. We would not change your calendar, and you could turn it off at any time. If you never enable it, we never access your calendar.
6. Who helps us run the service
We share information only with service providers that help us run Little Whispers, and only for that purpose:

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or to protect our rights. If Little Whispers is ever sold or merged, subscriber information may transfer to the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy, including the texting promise below.
7. Text messages and your phone number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with, sold to, or rented to any third parties. The sharing described above excludes your text messaging opt-in data and consent.
How you opt in: texting is optional. You can check the optional SMS box on our signup form, or text START to (602) 557-4639 from your mobile phone at any time. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Because Little Whispers is delivered by text, we won’t send your whispers until you opt in one of these ways.
Opt-in confirmation: right after you opt in (by checking the SMS box or texting START), we text you: “Little Whispers: You're subscribed! 1 whisper text/day + up to 3 HUG texts/mo when you ask. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.” Message frequency: 1 whisper text per day, plus up to 3 on-request “rough day” HUG texts per month and service messages (welcome, account and billing notices, HELP/STOP replies); marketing texts only if you separately opted in, a few per month at most. Msg & data rates may apply.
Program name: Little Whispers. Once you opt in, you’ll get 1 whisper text a day, plus up to 3 “rough day” texts each calendar month when you ask by texting HUG. Marketing texts (new features and offers) are sent only if you separately opted in, a few times a month at most. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP at any time and our texts stop immediately (you’ll get one final text confirming you’ve been unsubscribed). Replying STOP also cancels your subscription billing, or we’ll tell you exactly how to cancel it. If you cancel through Whop instead, your texts continue until the end of the period you’ve already paid for (see Canceling and refunds). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. 8. How long we keep it
We keep your information while you’re subscribed and for a reasonable time afterward to handle billing questions, referrals, and legal or tax requirements. If you ask us to delete your information, we’ll delete it unless we need to keep a limited record by law (for example, a record that you opted out of texts, so we don’t text you again).
9. Your choices and rights
- Start texts: check the optional SMS box when you sign up, or text START to (602) 557-4639 at any time (also to restart after STOP).
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message at any time, and our texts stop immediately.
- Marketing texts: optional. Reply STOP to a marketing text to opt out.
- Update your details: email us to change your name, send time, focus areas, or other preferences.
- See or delete your data: email support@mylittlewhispers.com and ask for a copy of your information or for us to delete it. We may need to confirm it’s really you (usually by checking your email or phone number). We aim to respond within 30 days.
- Cancel your subscription: any time through Whop. Your texts continue until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, unless you reply STOP to stop them right away. See our Terms.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights. We’ll honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete your information no matter which state you live in, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.
10. Security
We use reputable providers, limit who can access subscriber records, and never ask for more than we need (for example, no birth year and no card numbers). No online service can promise perfect security, but we work hard to protect your information, and we’ll tell you if a breach affects you as required by law.
11. Age and location
Little Whispers is for adults 18 and older in the United States with a US mobile number. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, please email us and we’ll delete their information.
12. Changes and contact
